I just had this happen to me a few days ago. I had burned a 2-disk set
from the tape of a recent concert I played in and when I pulled one of the
discs out of the case to put a label on, it cracked catastrophically-- a
big, straight crack from center to edge! Fortunately, everything was still
there on the hard drive and burning another was easy, but it just proves
that CD's are not indestructable! The case was made, or at least labeled,
by Kensiko Systems (and manufactured in China). Those cases DO grip the
disk pretty tightly! Since I was burning these disks as Christmas presents
for my family, I will have to warn them to be careful.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is TOO LOUD!
