Klarinet folks,

In the next week, I will be playing in two concerts at Columbia
University, with two different groups of vastly different styles, and
thought some people here may be interested in attending:

Sunday, December 7th, at 3pm, the Columbia Wind Ensemble will present a
concert in Roone Arledge Auditorium of Lerner Hall (B'way and 115th).
We'll be playing music of Bruckner, Wagner, Offenbach, Humperdinck, John
Williams and more. It should be a great concert! Free admission, donations
welcome.

Monday, December 8th, at 8pm, the Columbia Klezmer Band will be joining
the internationally acclaimed Strauss/Warschauer Duo for the third
and final concert in the Columbia University Series on Klezmer Music and
Yiddish Song.

It'll be held in Rennert Hall of the Kraft Center (608 W 115th between
B'way and RSD). Debra Strauss will be leading traditional Yiddish dancing
and a very large audience is expected. If you plan to attend, please let
me know by Monday morning, as they are asking for RSVPs (it's free, but
seats are reportedly limited). If you have any interest in klezmer music,
this is not a concert to be missed.
