This reminds me of the clarinet I bought from a church rummage sale for
$120. It's my Buffet A clarinet, made in 1911. I felt like the clarinet was
worth the price, even though it is an oldie. I couldn't afford a new(er)
model,
so I bought it. I get the thing home and take a closer look, and it's turns
out
the mouthpiece is a Frank L. Kaspar. :-)

I sold the mouthpiece for $555. Did I tell the person I bought it from? No.
They were HAPPY to get the $120.

Did I feel guilty? Maybe just a little.

Sue
