Hey all,

I'm always out doing competitions and came across a good one for which I'm
ineligible that I think others may be interested in.

Andreas Makris Woodwind Competition

Eligibility
Full time high school senior, college undergraduate, or graduate clarinetist
currently enrolled and born between the dates of April 29th, 1979 to April
27th, 1986, from schools in any of the fifty United States of America.
Former finalists of this competition, current CSU students, and current or
previous students of the adjudication panel are ineligible.

Competition Repertoire
Concertino for solo flute and piano; Intrigues for solo clarinet and piano;
Fantasy and Dance for saxophone and piano; all by Andreas Makris, published
by Southern Music Company of Houston. All finalist performances must be from
memory. Scores for the adjudicators will be provided by Colorado State
University

Prize Awards:
1st Prize: $2500 and a performance with CSU Wind Ensemble April 27th, 2004
2nd Prize: $1500 and a performance with CSU Wind Ensemble April 27th, 2004
3rd Prize: $1000 and a performance with CSU Wind Ensemble April 27th, 2004
