Mike:
I just got my ClarFest CDs too and I'm very happy with the quality of
all of them.
Being compulsive by nature, I took notes at all the concerts. For the
evening jazz show there are some gaps and questions in my notes so I'd
be happy if anyone else can amend the following with more information.

There was an opening number by the jazz orchestra but it's not on the CD
as far as I can tell. It was "Count Bubba" by Gordon Goodwin.

Here's what I wrote by track number:

1. Phil Woods. (title was not announced and I don't know what it is).
2. Tad Calcara. "Henderson Stomp" by Fletcher Henderson (1927).
3. Tad Calcara. "The Mooch" by Duke Ellington (1928).
4. Tad Calcara. "Sugar Foot Stomp" - Fletcher Henderson Band (1923,
rearranged 1931).
5. Orchestra. "Sing Sang Sung" by Gordon Goodwin.
6. Gary Foster. "In Your Own Sweet Way" by Dave Brubeck.
7. Gary Foster. "Stoltz" by Clare Fisher (1985) - commissioned for
Richard Stoltzman.
8. Eddie Daniels. "Concerto in Swing" by Patrick Williams - written for
Eddie.
9. Eddie Daniels. (title was not announced and I don't know what it
is).
10. Eddie Daniels. (title was not announced and I don't know what it
is).
11. Eddie Daniels. Mozart's Symphony no. 40 rearranged by Gordon
Goodwin.
12. Eddie, Tad, Phil and Gary together. "Ballad for Hank" (Hank Michaud
(sp?)).
13. Eddie, Tad, Phil and Gary together. "Smoke Dreams" ("a little Latin
thing").
14. Eddie, Tad, Phil and Gary together. "Four Brothers" arranged by
Brian Booth.

Corrections most welcome.
It was a truly great show!
Diana
