Heh heh, Bill, have you been spying on me? I did just that, because I was stoooo-pid, and would leave my horn out on the clarinet stand...thinking having it out all the time would motivate me to practice more...riiiiiiiiight. The stuff got the tarnish off, but I had to take the upper joint apart and 1) degum the keys where old polish got stuck and 2) (the upside of all this) take apart my own A key to stop it from sticking, which, from what I could tell, had nothing to do with the silver polish. However, my poor clarinet needs an overhaul now, because of the rusted springs, etc. And it is all due to my laziness not wanting to have to put it away all the time.
