It is good to practice your scales over and over and over. That definitely
helps.
If you are playing a piece and you keep forgetting certain ones are supposed
to be sharp/flat, it is okay to pencil in a little reminder to yourself!

My favorite ligature is the Eddie Daniels II but I've heard good things
about the
BG ligatures and the Bonade, too. I think everyone has their own preference.
