Subj: [kl] Flats, Sharps and ligatures!

The main thing I am (have been since I started playing) having problems
with is what is an easy way to remember how to play the flats and sharps?
I remember a lot of them because I play them so frequently, but the
others I have a hard time remembering. The part about the ligatures is,
after playing with the same ligature for seven years, one of the screws
on my ligature broke and it can't be replaced because none of the local
shops or stores have a screw for it. I was wondering how should I pick a
new ligature? Should I stay with the standard ligature or use another
kind of ligature? I am currently using a Premier by Hite mouth piece,
will that have any effect?
