Ken,

What you witnessed sounds exactly like the same concert presented at one =
of ClarinetFest's gala concerts. Feidman entered the same way with the =
same audience participatory gesture, played everything you mentioned and =
closed with the same dissertation about the unifying qualities of music. =
And Raul almost stole the show (and he was wearing the most provocative =
cologne). The guitarist was ill, but played his heart out and was just =
wonderful, as was the bassist. Needless to say, the encores were =
fantastic.

Ken is right on the mark where this concert is concerned. If Feidman is =
anywhere in the neighborhood, go see him. It's a show you won't soon =
forget. I wasn't much on klezmer before seeing him. I've been =
intoxicated since.
