Subj: [kl] New material for Clarinet???
Date: Tue, 11 Nov 2003 07:35:07 -0500

Check this out - Manufactured in Germany by F. K. Roedel, this unique
Boehm system clarinet is made of the revolutionary new material --
Novobrass, which is a special ABS plastic filled with brass powder. It
greatly improves sound quality and durability and also gives the
clarinet a distinctive appearance -- its surface literally shines in
the spotlight. The keys are silver-plated. This is a great instrument
for beginners and advanced players alike.

Color: Midnight Blue

I wonder how it plays? And if it's dropped, will it crack, shatter,
or make a dent in the floor ;) I came across it while ordering some
Gigliotti Reeds for a student.
