It is true that you must order a certain amount, over the course of the
year, to qualify for the best discounts. But for the small stores that
cannot get the best discounts, what would you suggest? Selling at a
loss? The sheet music department will go under as well, you know.

By the way, I do not know about OTHER music stores, but I know that WE do
not rent "clunkers." We rent brand new, name brand instruments, and
relatively new returned rentals. Below a certain COSMETIC level they are
purged from the rental system.
