and the BIG DISCOUNT STORES don't even pretend to be able to offer service

These stores expect the minimum wage, less that high school grad, with no
benefits(make sure they can never get 40hours) person who can't even spell
SERVICE to give you service. go figure.......

I still would rather buy my yard rake from Layton's hardware for 29.99 and
look the guy in the eye than from Walmart for much less. If the rake breaks
I go look him in the eye again and say "this is crap" but that does not
happen since In the unlikely event that his superior model rake fails he
would see me come in the store and make a point to rectify the situation
before I spoke.
When I buy my next clarinet I plan on buying it on some sort of personel
level not gazing at computer screen.

Walmart is an unhealthy state of mind.
