In an emergency you can tear a small piece of paper and fold it to fit =
over your lower teeth. When it is good and wet, it will mold itself to =
stay where you put it. It only lasts for the one concert. There is =
some stuff called "Lip Ease" that you can buy in the music store or from =
the catalogs. I have never used this, but people say it works. =
Personally, I went to the orthodontist and asked to have a thin acrylic =
cover made to wear over my six lower front teeth. If you go this route =
and the orthodontist doesn't understand what you mean, tell him to make =
you an "Essix retainer" (at this site learn more: =
http://www.littletonortho.com/education6.cfm) for your six lower front =
teeth. The cost shouldn't be more than $50-$75 max. Might seem like a =
lot of money, but it is permanent and will last forever (unless you =
damage it), is comfortable to wear and easy to keep clean. Personally, =
it was worth the expense to me.
