I've just rejoined this list after other commitments made this list (and
other lists) too much for a while. It was getting to the stage where I was
not having time to practice for the time I was spending reading emails. I
mostly lurk, but I don't undersatnd this message.

Annie, this is a clarinet list and you are about to have a discussion about
style and tone. Who do you think is going to be bored?

I think you're teasing us.

Its not just you. It quite often happens that someone asks an on topic
question and someone else suggests taking it off list, but every teacher
knows (or perhaps should know) that if one asks a question half the class
was probably wondering if they should or how they should ask something
similar.
