Interesting...the XJS in road tests usually beats out the M3 in
0-60 mph (5.2 sec for the XJS instead of 5.5 sec for the M3) and
the top speed for the XJS is close to 160 (156) for an XJS (140
for an M3.) The new XJR V8 outruns the M3 too, or did I mention
that before?

Maybe the engine of your M3 is so loud that it overpowers you
while it attempts to keep up with the XJS? The M3 isn't going to
do 165 either <grin>.

Or...maybe it is those expensive Buffet instruments weighing the
M3 down? I hear the Patricolas are lighter, more focused,
cheaper, and allow your car to go faster than cars weighed down
carrying instruments that have the bloated Buffet nameplate on
the front. Or is that just advertising propaganda? <BIGevilgrin>
