Piffle. Morrie's work is hardly "gorgeous."

. . . that implies that it merely *looks* good. It is "exquisite." My
anecdote:

I bought a pair of Yamahas two summers ago at the ClarinetFest in New
Orleans. Great horns, love 'em. Morrie tweaked, love 'em more.

Then, just for grins, I had Morrie overhaul the R-13 I've used since high
school. Too much sentimental value to ditch, as I bought it with some money
bequeathed by by grandmother. Whole lotta miles on it. His best friend in
A was a horn built in 1962 that I purchased from an estate; it rattled when
you picked it up.

Morrie is a wizard. I now have two extremely servicable Yamaha CS that
languish in the closet. The Buffets play better than new, esp. with the
really cool cocobolo bell and the Valentino pads. Silent keywork, fab
intonation. Did I mention that his rates are reasonable, too?

Sigh.
