Gary,
As Bill replied, it's indeed the 'Romances' CD he was talking about!
The Cd I mentioned is a Sony Classical CD SK 89251
'Creation' by Branford Marsalis soprano and alto saxes with the Orpheus
Chamber Orchestra.
Works by:
Erik Satie -1- 'Gymnopedie No3,
Claude Debussy -2-'The Little Shepherd' from Children's Corner Suite.
Maurice Ravel -3-'Pavane Pour une infante defunte'
Darius Milhaud -4- 'La Creation du Monde'.
Gabriel Faure -5- 'Piu Jesu' from Requiem, Op. 81
Darius Milhaud -6-'Sorocaba' -7/9-'Scaramouche' suite for saxophone and
orchestra -10- 'Corcovado' -11-'Sumare'
Jaques Ibert -12/14- Concertino da camara for alto saxophone and orchestra.
Darius Milhaud -15- 'Laranjeiras'.
Claude Debussy -16- 'Golliwogs Cake-Walk.
Hope this helps Gary.
All the best,
Aad Overeem
