I have to mic my saxophone, because the rest of the band IS TOO LOUD! I like
the Audio Technica Pro 95 clip on, originally intended for guitars. Very
small. Rich sound quality. Affordable, has a tiny hearing aid battery, but no
power pack. So if you have to mic it ....
