Ken--do you have "Klezperanto" with Ilene Stahl? This klez album, with
charts by Evan Harlan, is permanently in my CD cassette, along w/Sinatra at
the Sands, for music to keep me happy and awake on long road trips late at
night.
I love Ilene's sound and articulation. I played klez clar at her wedding,
w/a group of irregulars from the Klezmer Conservatory Band. I play clar
with the Zamir Chorale, so it keeps me into the Tribe, as it were.
