Patricia,

Yes, the program is very exciting. Each of the works are great for the
clarinet. The newest works, NINE EPISODES (2001) -- for clarinet, violin, cello
and piano and FOUR COLORS (2003) for clarinet and piano are great additions to
that combination's repertoire. I think the Ariel and End of Summer are some of
the best chamber pieces using clarinet.

As for a recording of the concert; Weill Hall will be recording the concert
live for archival purposes. I will get a CD copy for my own archives but not
for commercial release.

We will be commercially recording Four Colors (the new clarinet piece), the
Nine Episodes, some more Poems Without Words and one or two other pieces later
next year. The Ariel, End of Summer and Poems Without Words, recorded at Town
Hall in 2001, have already been released on Albany Records.

If you're around on the 29th, come to the concert.
Tom
