Klarinet Archive - Posting 000646.txt from 2003/10
From: "Bryan Crumpler" <crumpletox@-----.com> Subj: [kl] $200 Gig for Clarinetist in NYC Date: Fri, 24 Oct 2003 08:46:15 -0400
Thought someone a little closer to the city might be interested in this
posting. You must either own a C clarinet or have strong transposition
skills as the part is written in C.
It's skimpy pay for 3 performances and 2 rehearsals (of unknown duration),
but I figure there has to be someone that's interested. DO NOT RESPOND TO ME
OR TO THE LIST. Contact the musical director personally. Details are below.
Thanks!
Bryan

Hey folks,
My name is Bryant and I'm musical directing a production of "The World Goes
Round", a Kander and Ebb review, with the Harlequin Theater Co. in the
Bronx. Easy ride on 1/9. We need a clarinetist who can read off of the
piano-conductor score, unfortunately we don't have separate charts for
clarinet. There will be two rehearsals (one with me and drums, and one at a
cast dress rehearsal) and three performances (Nov. 8,9 and 12), and they
will pay $200. Anyone interested? Or know of anyone? Hit me back at
brywk@-----.
Thanks,
Bryant
