I have seen two DIFFERENT types. One is essentially a mini-trombone,
looking just like one, but smaller. The other (an older type, I think) was
less readily identifiable, but still had an obvious movable slide (this one
with a little knob to hold). In either case, they take a standard trumpet
mouthpiece. The ones we had in the store (first type) were pitched in
Bb. Note that there are also alto trombones, in Eb. I have seen them only
in pictures.
