Kelly,

Posts to the moderated list (Clarinet) are also posted automatically to the
unmoderated one (Klarinet).

You can post to either list by using the appropriate address (they are cited
in my message that you responded to and which I've left intact below).

You will not receive posts directly from Clarinet unless you are subscribed
to it (but you will see them all on Klarinet).

Since you will see the same posts on Klarinet, and you can post to Clarinet
without subscribing, there's no need to subscribe to both in order to read
messages. The only slight hitch, to which I was referring in my post, is
that if you read the message on the unmoderated list and respond, your
response will only show up on Klarinet. To have it appear on Clarinet, you
will have to reply there directly (by addressing the reply to
clarinet@-----.org - it won't get there just by clicking <Reply> in your
email program).

As Mark confirmed when I asked, posts which originally came through Clarinet
will be identified with [clarinet] in the subject after the [kl] tag which
identifies Klarinet posts.

I think I've got it all.

Hope you're feeling better. Nice to see you back.

I wonder if the Clarinet moderators would be willing to screen Klarinet
replies to Clarinet messages and post the ones they consider appropriate
back to Clarinet to make cross-discussion more seamless without our having
to remember to re-address our replies or check the source tag when a thread
comes over from Clarinet?

Karl
