My group Quake is presenting a concert titled: Inescapable Rhythms on

$20, $10 for students and seniors.

Seattle=92s alternative chamber music group Quake presents=20
Inescapable Rhythms. The first performance of Quake=92s 2003-2004 season is=

music of an Autumn mood. Poetry by Wallace Stevens, from which the title=20
of the concert comes, will be featured in Thomas Albert=92s Thirteen=20
Ways. The performance will also be held in Gig Harbor on November 2 at the=
=20
Agnus Dei Lutheran Church, 10511 Peacock Hill Ave. Information for Gig=20

Beginning with Kazimierz Serocki=92s bizarre Swinging Music, the=20
Fall mood continues with Joseph Schwantners Music of Amber. The=20
pre-Halloween spirit of the first half ends with John Meuhleisen=92s=20
Apparitions, with assistance by Lynn Meuhleisen, Soprano, and Eric Nestler,=
=20
Saxophone. The second half opens with October staple Danse Macabre by=20
Camille Saint-Sa=EBns. Following Stephen Rush=92s Rebellion, the concert=20
closes with Thirteen Ways.

Quakes 2003-2004 season includes performances at Benaroya Hall on=

February 2 - The Adams Family presented on the Seattle Symphony=92s Music of=
=20
our Time series and featuring John Adams; and May 17 - Lewis and Clark: A=20
Voyage of Discovery presented in conjunction with the Tacoma Art Museums=20
Lewis and Clark exhibition.

Quake includes current and former members of such divergent groups=

as the Kronos Quartet, Metropolitan Opera, Seattle Symphony Orchestra, the=

=93Jazz Talk=94 Octet, the University of Washington faculty, and the rock=
band=20
Relative Sight. Hailed in the Tacoma Reporter for =93...creating entirely=

new and amazing performance experiences,=94 Quake continues to engage=20
audiences with its rich and varied repertoire, superior musicianship, and=20
