Even though I am 48 years old I am musically just a babe. I am
especially "clarinet illiterate". So imagine my excitement when I learn of a
used Buffet clarinet for sell, locally. I have never seen a buffet up close
let alone play one. Tonight I am going to go test drive it.
I don't even know what model it is. The woman on the phone said her
husband (the musician and "collector") would know and he will be there
tonight. This couple might just be some Ebay junkies. Who Knows.
So.... all you "Buffet Mafia" people out there need to be praying for my
conversation. Is there a secret handshake that I need to know before
playing???? Will I love it so much that I will trade my wife for it? ???
Will I join the Mafia?????or will it just be another clarinet???/ Will I
crawl back to my 1958 Conn Director and beg forgivness????????Stay tuned
bullwinkle and we will return tomorrow.
