Vandoren makes Ab mouthpieces; one style only, I believe, but I rather
enjoy mine -- very rich. Ripamonti makes a whole variety in hard
rubber and crystal. Prices are very reasonable there ( ~ $70 as
opposed to ~ $200 for the vandoren). Be aware that the mouthpiece to
instrument (barrel or main joint depending on Ab type) is not entirely
standard between manufacturers of Ab's and you may need to have your
tech fit the mouthpiece to your instrument.
