Chantelle - there are plenty of University's who would take your money
and give you the best training that they could. I had a summer student
who graduated from a High School that another Student of mine directed
at and she was accepted to North Texas State. This player as far as I
was concerned didn't have one bit of the talent that it should take to
make that school of that quality yet they took her. Raw talent on a
scale of 1-10 with 10 being "best" she was a 6 **at best**. I've
taught 10's and I've taught 2's (I'm too expensive for any 1's ;).

Point being that if you have talent, many if not most schools will
take you.

There are way, way, way too many Performance Majors getting pumped out
of the Music Schools (the money whores that they are) - it's
comparable to Lambs being led to the slaughter house.
