I'm a refugee violinist, studying clarinet in my second run through
college at a proper music degree, and one thing I miss from the string
side of the fence (and from playing the bassoon for a while) is the
availability of interesting, idiomatic baroque works for my instrument.

I've read that Vivaldi, as well as Telemann, wrote for the clarinet, or
its chalaumeau (sp?) predcessor. Are any of these works extant, and
available in editions that aren't too difficult to lay hands on?
