Steve,

There was no bis key on the e-flat when you sent it to me. But there is
no "sliver" key either. Both left and right hand keys have been replaced
by perfect sized nubs which allow easy operation, yet don't interfere with
"flying fingers." I enjoy this clarinet every time I play it!

I have played other e-flat clarinets in the past. One of them have sliver
keys filed down to very thin slivers - somewhat painful at times, but
another solution. Yours is much more elegant.

I seem to use both the sliver and trill keys equally, depending on the
note progression. Keeping finger movements in one hand whan possible
seems to help synchronization of pad closings, which results in cleaner
articulations, imho.
