Nancy, I had never thought about the Legere reeds for beginners but =

for the suggestion. I have a 3rd grader at the moment taking lessons =
and
she's very hard on the reeds and the instrument. Last week, she had =
several
moldy reeds in her collection which I threw away and I advised her to go
home and wash her reed holder with a bleach solution. $13 is a lot less
than 4 or 5 boxes of Rico reeds and much more consistent also. What =
type of
mouthpieces do you use with your beginners?
