If you don't use the left hand sliver key, you haven't studied Carl
Baermann
3rd Division or the high flats and sharps Kroepsch Studies. Also,
referring
back a month or so, these same Kroepsch Studies will get you well
acquainted
with the trill keys F#.
Either that or you will have to be a real expert at sliding and
cross-fingering. There's enough unavoidable sliding and
cross-fingering in
these studies as it is.

As a re-treaded amateur who has never has had great speed in the
technique
department, I heartily recommend both the Baermann and the Kroepsch
Studies
to make considerable improvement in most clarinetists' technique.

Plus, the Kroepsch Studies are very melodic and, while difficult, are
a real
pleasure to practice and master. They will also sharpen your
articulation
and dynamics -- when you follow the markings - after you have
mastered the
notes.

Gene, Abe Galper re-did the Kroepsch book 1 in his book "Tone
Technique and Staccato" published by Mel Bay. Highly recommended
book - has many really good studies in it besides the Kroepsch (some
Klose mech. studies, orchestral excerpt works and more. That book is a
mainstaple in my teaching. Works for grade 7 (advanced) and above.
Easy to read too as the Kroepsch are done in eighth notes in cut time.
