Banana Key?

None if the keys on any of my instruments is yellow....>

Can you educate those of us who don't recognise the expression?

Noel, I do know that looking at the music and rehearsing the counting
and the fingerings can be a tremendous help. Also marking where to take
a breath. If I have a part that has tricky counting plus tricky
fingerings, it does help me to "tap out" the counting in my head and
also mark the beats and maybe indicate the pinkies (L or R) or the
banana key (K). Even then, I still have to run through the tough
passages a few times in my mind.
I am off to Mr. Bell's 8th grade band. Bye for now. ANNIE
