I can well understand how the work could be transcribed for one bass and

4 b-flat clarinets, but how did you do it for 3? I don't see which=20
voice got collapsed into one of the other parts because all are occupied

all the time, and the voice cannot be arbitrarily eliminated withouth=20
awful consequences to the work.
