First, thanks for the Band in a Box suggestion, but it's not exactly what I
had in mind.

Smart Music, I think, is it, although it looks very confusing, the way they
lay out on their website.

According to the search for Vivace Software, "Coda Music rolled Vivace into
their Smart Music code." So that's apparently two streets that have run
together. They don't list TN on their website as TMEA permitting the use of
computer-generated accompaniments. I will have to find a human being in
MTSBOA (the Middle Tennessee judging division) to find out -- if they know.
Last year, I visited their website, trying to find a copy of the S&E play
list. I never found one, and the local band director didn't have a clue.
(We've got a new band director this year -- and he seems to have a brain.
I'm going to get him started early finding me a list. <g>)

Someone who uses Smart Music, please email me off list. I need to
understand how their system works.

Thanks for the advise from everyone.

Jim Hobby
