I purchased a copy of Vivace a couple of years ago. Through their proprietary microphone, and a good multi-direction sound card, the accompanient CAN follow you to a certain extent. You can also set a "level" at which you want it to bend the tempo - from none to "a lot. You can also insert your own pauses and have the software remember them for later performance and/or practise.

There is a foot lever to hit when you want it to start after a hold.

I'd say it was OK, but just OK. Not, of course, like making real music with a live pianist. Good for teaching, though, when you just can't have an acompanist available.
