There was a program mentioned some time ago that would produce a piano
accompaniment, that I think is then controllable from a computer.
(Does
anyone know what I'm talking about ... because I'm not terribly sure.)
We
have no pianists available here for solo & ensemble performance. I'm
not
even sure that either of the associations will permit it, but I'm
trying to
find something that will work. Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks, Jim

The program is titled now SmartMusic and it runs as a subscription.
You can order it at www.SmartMusic.com
It is good enough that I actually stopped doing my www.MyTempo.com
accompaniment service as I knew I couldn't compete with it.
Subscriptions are $95 per year for it and I think it's worth every
penny. I might be doing some Masterclasses to demonstrate it for
them - will see.
