Why not try a Yamaha? They started out as a copy of the Buffets and some
would say are better now.
I have a student with a Festival which is very similar to my Yamaha
Custom CS (except the tuning is better on my CS).
Sound quality is the same from both. The only thing you would miss
(unless it is an option on the instrument you look at) is the right hand
E flat key...and of course the name buffet on the instrument. Nothing
wrong with the Buffet of course, but I don't think you would be moving
down to the Yamaha....
