A repair tech friend who worked with me in a music store once had Tom
Ridenour sat with him for two hours one afternoon and learning to use
grenadilla powder and Hot Stuff, the industrial strength super glue you can
get from Ferree's or Allied to repair cracks. After practicing on a couple
of old wood clarinets my friend, Terry, has learned able to make an
almost-always unnoticeable and permanent repair to cracks inside or out.
