The part I have has a key signature or 2 flats starting 2 before rehearsal
28. There are simply no natural signs in these two measures to cancel the
key sig. Maybe the key signature is incorrect?

Yes, you're right. I meant 5th of rehearsal 23 (9/8 meter). The triplet is
actually in the 8th beat of the 9 eighth note beats.
