Amen. I was going to say exactly this in response to Rebecca's first message.
My 35-year-old plastic Vito continues to serve me extremely well in my position
as principal clarinet for the Tualatin Valley Community Band. I (and the rest
of the band!) am quite pleased with the sound I get, and it still looks brand-
new.

This response led me to poke around LeBlanc's web site for history, where I
learned that Vito Pascucci, namesake and designer of the Vito clarinets and
president of Leblanc U.S., passed away last month.
