I must go back and read his book again. I'm somewhat surprised that
not much has been said about the book. Whether it was his own style, or
the British style in general, I recall being totally delighted with his
way of saying things. I was most favorably impressed. He made the world
of clarinet playing a much richer place and will be sorely missed.
