When the original 10G became available and Gigliotti began encouraging his
students to buy and use them, one of the selling points was the lined
barrels, which Moennig had been doing to Buffet barrels on request for a few
years (a great deal of Moennig's hand-work found its way into the 10G's
design). I've always thought the OEM barrels packed with 10G's since at
least 1972, when I bought my Bb, were lined. The ones in my A, which is at
least 10 years more recent, are lined as well.

It can be VERY hard to see the lining on one that was done at the factory -
they're much more covert that barrel linings that have been retrofitted
using mouthpiece cores.

Just a thought.
