Dear List,

I have an old Buffet Bb that is just back from a complete Robert Scott
overhaul ( $400+ ). This clarinet has a serial number 17xx which places
it about 1927/1928. If you are familiar with Robert Scott's work then
you know the quality of this overhaul . The clarinet is completely tight
and sound, no cracks, never pinned, and plays very well. Cork upper and
double skin lower pads. This was the personal clarinet of Dave Julliet,
owner of Ann Arbor Music; studio of Larry Teal etc.. The clar plays with
a big sound characteristic of the larger bore on this instrument, and
tunes quite well w/ the current barrel( pulled out slightly ). I
previously used this clar for both dance band and a 10 piece jump blues/
swing band and I do not need this instrument any longer.

I am requesting any info as to fair value and/ or email from those
interested in this instrument.

Thank you.

Dave Gilbert
