I don't know how long it takes to cross, but I have a sneaking suspicion
you might be delayed a day or two (mainly having to change your track when
you cross). Don't worry though, no one in his right mind would sail into a
hurricane. Inconvenient, yes. Life altering, only if you go in the wrong
direction. Happy trails!
