Walter, what kind of oil do you employ in your immersion therapy? And I have
another small problem with the barrel on the Marigaux clarinet I wrote here
about over the weekend...both rings are loose, and it's summer and it's
humid here, so the wood has clearly shrunk some, and a little less so with
the bell rings, but the main body of the instrument seems fine. What are the
methods of attending to loose rings? I've used plumber's teflon tape in a
pinch in the past. I'll end up getting a different barrel if I use the
clarinet regularly, and then maybe it will play more like a Slemer than a
Buffet, it does have more the physical feel and heft of a Selmer anyway.

Thanks for any help.
Don
