Vic, Check with your technician to see what type of pads were put on =

clarinet. My technician provides various choices for me and the last =
set he
put on were guaranteed for 10 years. They have been on the clarinet now =
for
4 years and are holding up very well. My technician is not cheap but I =
have
had technicians who charged much less work on my clarinet. The current
technician may be more expensive but I've never been happier with the =
work
he has done on my clarinet. Perhaps you need someone new. There are
several technicians on this list who could help you out.=20
