They work very well for a number of different things. I have kept one in
my Gemeinhardt flute that sees the light of day about once a year, and
can always count on it looking just as clean and tidy as the last time I
stashed it in the case on the shelf in my music room. I've never tried
one in a clarinet case before, but I'm sure it will do the trick there,
too.
Anyone out there have or had a Marigaux clarinet? I have one I picked up
virtually mint, a King/Marigaux model from the very early 70s (I got it
to go with my King/SML alto sax more than anything else when I found it)
and wonder if anyone's played them and have any comments. It seems to be
very close to my Buffet of the same vintage, but the key-work is quite
different in feel and placement. But it plays VERY well in tune as is
before I start playing around with barrels and mouthpieces. Do I
remember Jimmy Abato playing and endorsing the King Marigaux line?

Thanks for posting this. I too have a problem with tarnished keys,
except my instrument is a Yamaha CX-72. I have not cared for it as I
should have, as the keys are concerned. It definitely needs some
polishing up and these strips look to be just the thing.
