I would think that for greek music ebonite would be a better choice. I beleive it is impervious to Ozo. It wouldn't break if plates flew around it would survive. Greek music is absolutely fascinating to listen to. It bears no resemblance to the klezmer stuff that I play so I nevr get called for those gigs. But as a kid, I was stupid enough to take a greek gig, I played polkas and hell, it was problably just going to be greek polkas. WRONG this stuff was in all kinds of weird meter, it was like trying to sight read Stravinsky. To make a long story short, the bazzoky player gave me a big mug of Ozo. In about 10 min. it all looked like 4/4.
