Sorry, I can't quite agree with this assessment of Bocelli. He does
have a "fine voice," as you suggest, or in other words, a fine
instrument. However, when it comes to musical interpretation, he is an
automaton. He sings as though he is imitating a recording, and no
matter what he is singing, it is always the same recording. This has
nothing to do with the fact that he is blind, but rather relates to
musical instincts, or the lack of them.
