Actually, I'll add to this thread. I recently purchased a brand-new E-11 A
Buffett clarinet, and it plays very sharp on my middle C and D notes. I
have a 25 year old Bb Signet Soloist that was recently overhauled, and it
has always played out of tune on those notes. I always thought it was me
until my new clarinet played the same way! Does anyone else have problems
with those notes? Or is it me?

Would a barrel help that?
